LONDON, 26 June. - (ANA) - A cargo vessel was struck by a projectile off the coast of Oman, causing damage to its bridge but no casualties or pollution, the UK Maritime Trade Operations said on Wednesday.

 

The UKMTO said it received a report of an incident about 14km south-east of Dahit, Oman.

 

According to the report, the projectile hit the vessel on its starboard side.

 

The ship's master reported that there were no injuries among the crew and no environmental effects resulting from the incident.   - (ANA) -
