WASHINGTON, 29 June. - (ANA) - The US and Iran will halt strikes for now and allow vessels to move freely through the Strait of Hormuz while technical talks continue on their initial agreement, Reuters reported, citing a US official, after both sides exchanged fire at the weekend.
US news outlet Axios had earlier reported the same, saying the two sides were due to meet in Doha on Tuesday. Iran has not confirmed the pause.
