PARIS, 05 Oct. - (ANA) - Education at a Glance provides internationally comparable data on education systems across the world, covering attainment, enrolment, finance and the organisation of education systems. 

 

This year’s edition focuses on teacher shortages and what can be done to tackle them. The report shows that improving working conditions is one aspect, but the attractiveness of the profession depends on a much broader range of factors. 

 

Relationships with students, parents and school leaders, the school climate, professional autonomy and public recognition of the profession all influence the job satisfaction of teachers.   - (ANA) -
