Drinking tea could help to significantly lower blood pressure
LONDON, 23 Oct. - (ANA) - Researchers from the University of Reading and Cambridge University discovered that food and drinks such as tea, apples and berries are rich in flavanols, and could reduce the risk of hypertension.
High blood pressure can increase the chance of being diagnosed with serious health conditions, such as coronary heart disease and kidney disease, if left untreated.
The team studied the diet of more than 25,000 people in the UK, and compared what they consumed with their blood pressure. - (ANA) -
