Israel continues deadly strikes as Gaza awaits peace plan response

ISRAELI OCCUPIED AND STARVED GAZA, 30 Sept. - (ANA) - Israeli forces intensified Gaza strikes, killing 11 since dawn, as Palestinians await Hamas’s response to US President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan to end the nearly two-year genocidal war on the Palestinian enclave.

Israeli forces intensified Gaza strikes, killing 37 since dawn, as Palestinians await Hamas’s response to US President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan to end the nearly two-year genocidal war on the Palestinian enclave.

Al Jazeera Arabic reported on Tuesday that the death toll in Gaza continues to rise, with Israeli forces firing at Palestinians seeking aid near the Netzarim Corridor in central Gaza.

The outlet did not confirm whether the incident caused casualties.

Separately, a child died in Gaza City due to severe malnutrition and lack of medical treatment, according to al-Shifa Hospital.

This comes amid reports that Hamas’s negotiating team is reviewing the latest peace plan unveiled Monday by US President Donald Trump following talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House. Netanyahu publicly endorsed the proposal, which aims to end the Gaza war.

The plan calls for a ceasefire, the release of hostages by Hamas, the group’s disarmament, and a phased Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.

It also proposes the deployment of a "temporary international stabilisation force" and the creation of a transitional authority headed by Trump alongside other foreign leaders.

The framework stipulates that Hamas and other Palestinian factions would play no role in Gaza’s future governance. While Arab, Muslim and EU powers expressed support for the US-led initiative, some Palestinians criticised it as a "farce."

The Palestinian Authority (PA), however, welcomed Trump’s efforts to end the war, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.   - (ANA) -
