PARIS, 12 Oct. - (ANA) - French President Emmanuel Macron will travel to Egypt on Monday to join talks on implementing the Gaza peace plan brokered by Trump, alongside Qatar, Turkey, and Egypt.

 

The plan’s goals are ambitious - a permanent ceasefire, release of all hostages, and full humanitarian access to Gaza after nearly 2 years of war. 

 

Macron will meet regional leaders to coordinate next steps and reaffirm France’s support for a 2-state solution, which Paris insists remains the only path to lasting peace and reconstruction.

 

It’s a diplomatic balancing act - backing U.S.-led negotiations while trying to reclaim a European voice in a region reshaped by Washington and its new Middle East partners.   - (ANA) -
