Fresh Israeli strikes reported in Gaza as death toll surpasses 70,000

ISRAELI OCCUPIED GAZA, 30 Nov. - (ANA) - Fresh Israeli attacks were reported across Gaza on Sunday as Israeli forces continue to defy the ceasefire.

Palestinian news agency WAFA reported intensive shelling and helicopter fire east of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Israeli aircraft also launched a number of raids east of Rafah, while artillery fire targeted a house in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis.

No casualties were reported following the attacks.

Israeli forces have violated the ceasefire on almost a daily basis since it came into force on 10 October.

At least 354 Palestinians have been killed and another 906 injured in the seven weeks since mediators brokered the truce.

The overall death toll since October 2023 surpassed 70,000 on Saturday, while 171,000 others have been injured.    - (ANA) -
