ISRAELI OCCUPIED AND STARVED GAZA, 17 Dec. - (ANA) - A Palestinian infant has frozen to death in Gaza as Israel continues to block the entry of shelter supplies and humanitarian aid despite harsh winter conditions.

 

Gaza’s Health Ministry said on Tuesday that the two-week-old baby died after being treated for severe hypothermia, as families displaced by Israel’s war are left living in flimsy tents without heating or adequate clothing.

 

Humanitarian groups warn that continued restrictions on aid are making basic winter exposure deadly for civilians, particularly newborns and children.

 

Gaza's civil defence agency said on Friday that at least 16 people had died within 24 hours from collapsed buildings and the effects of the cold.

 

On Tuesday, agency spokesman Mahmoud Bassal said at least one person had died after the roof of a building collapsed following heavy rains in northwest Gaza City.

 

He said the house had already been damaged by air strikes during the war.   - (ANA) -
