 UAE tourism hits record 32.34m guests, hotel revenues rise to $13.4bn in 2025
ABU DHABI, 18 April. (ANA) - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) tourism records 32.34 million hotel guests in 2025 and revenues hit $13.39 billion, with occupancy at 79.3 per cent, officials confirm.
The UAE tourism sector reached a new milestone in 2025 underscoring the country’s international appeal and growth potential.
Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, said the UAE has consolidated its position as a leading global tourism model, supported by strong performance indicators and proactive strategies aimed at sustaining growth and competitiveness.
Speaking during the second meeting of the Emirates Tourism Council 2026 in Ras Al Khaimah, Bin Touq highlighted that hotel establishments recorded approximately 32.34m guests in 2025, compared to 30.75m in 2024, marking a growth of 5.2 per cent.
Total hotel nights exceeded 110.62m, up from 104.45m in the previous year, reflecting a growth rate of around 5.9 per cent.
Hotel revenues across the UAE rose by 9.7 per cent to approximately $13.39 billion in 2025, while occupancy levels reached 79.3 per cent. The number of hotel rooms stood at 217,000 by the end of the year. - (ANA) -
