TEL AVIV, 22 June. - (ANA) - Israel's Foreign Minister, Gideon Saar, has told New Zealand's Foreign Minister, Winston Peters, that Israel will not withdraw.

 

"We don't have territorial ambitions in Lebanon, but we will not withdraw from the security zone and expose our citizens to Hezbollah’s attacks and possible invasion," Saar said in a post on X, referring to land in southern Lebanon occupied by Israel.

 

"It's the interest of both Lebanon and Israel that Hezbollah’s terror state will be dismantled," he added.   - (ANA) -
