GENEVA, 22 June. - (ANA) - Mediators Pakistan and Qatar say  "encouraging progress” on the first day of high-level talks in Switzerland between the US and Iran. Apparently, "a roadmap for a final deal to be reached within 60 days” was made, which also included a "de-confliction cell" to ensure an end to Israeli "military operations in Lebanon"

 

Things got messy after US President Donald Trump threatened to attack Iran, which caused the Iranian delegation to skip a photo opportunity with the US delegation, including US Vice President J.D. Vance 

 

Israel still plays spoiler, with Israeli officials saying they will stay and expand in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza as long as necessary.  - (ANA) -
