SANAA, YEMEN, 21 Sept. - (ANA) - Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis said Saudi Arabia carried out 28 airstrikes across Yemen over the past 24 hours, targeting the provinces of Al Jawf, Marib and Taiz.

 

Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said the strikes were carried out by Saudi F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets launched from Khamis Mushait and Taif air bases. “The Saudi warplanes conducted 28 airstrikes during the past 24 hours,” he said in a post on X.

 

Maj Gen Saree said the latest strikes brought the reported total since the start of what he called the Saudi escalation against Yemen to 760 air strikes.

 

The claims could not be independently verified. No Saudi military statement corroborating the reported number of strikes was identified in the search.   - (ANA) -
