UAE and Saudi Arabia condemn Iran's attacks on Gulf states

ABU DHABI/RYADH, 28 Feb. - (ANA) - The Unitd Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Yemen issued separate statements condemning Iran's attacks on Arab states including the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Jordan on Saturday.

The UAE's Foreign Ministry called the attacks, which killed at least one person, "a flagrant violation of national sovereignty and a clear breach of international law and the Charter of the United Nations".

"The UAE reaffirmed its categorical rejection of the use of the territories of regional states as arenas for settling disputes or expanding the scope of conflict, it said, referring to the war between the US, Israel and Iran.

Saudi Arabia said it is placing "all its capabilities" at the disposal of its neighbouring states and supporting them in "all measures" they take.   - (ANA) -
