3,400 flights cancelled amid regional tensions, says flight monitor
LONDON, 01 March. - (ANA) - More than 3,400 flights have been cancelled across seven airports in the Middle East on Sunday, according to Flightradar24.
The flight monitor, which tracks air traffic updates in real time, said flights from airports in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Doha, Kuwait and Bahrain were suspended as airspaces remain closed for security reasons. Airlines in the region have temporarily suspended flights as Gulf states continue to intercept Iranian missiles fired in retaliation for a joint US-Israeli attack on Tehran. - (ANA) -
