Iran said Strait of Hormuz to remain closed till US meets conditions of the June 17 agreement
TEHRAN, Iran's top negotiator, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said the Strait of Hormuz would remain closed until the US meets conditions of the June 17 agreement, including lifting the marine blockade and sanctions, as well as releasing frozen Iranian assets.
He also accused the US of trying to force more concessions from Tehran.
Mr. Ghalibaf began a three-day visit to Iraq on Wednesday, describing ties between the two countries as a “historical bond that cannot be severed”. - (ANA) -
