TEHRAN, Iran's top negotiator, Parliament Speaker ​Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, ‌said the ​Strait ⁠of ⁠Hormuz would ​remain closed until ⁠the US meets ⁠conditions of ​the ⁠June 17 agreement, including lifting the marine blockade and sanctions, as well as releasing frozen ​Iranian assets. 

 

He also accused the US of trying to force more concessions from Tehran.

 

Mr. Ghalibaf began a three-day visit to Iraq on Wednesday, describing ties between the two countries as a “historical bond that cannot be severed”.   - (ANA) -
