ANKARA/CAIRO, 02 Feb. - (ANA) - Turkey, Egypt and Qatar are working to organise a meeting between White House envoy Steve Witkoff and senior Iranian officials in Ankara later this week, Axios reported citing unnamed regional sources. 

 

“It is moving. We are doing our best,” an official from one of the countries said. Why it matters: The diplomatic push raises the prospect of talks averting a strike on Iran and preventing a wider regional war.
