Iran peace plan demands war compensation, recognition of sovereignty over Strait of Hormuz
TEHRAN, 11 May. - (ANA) - Iran has submitted a comprehensive plan to end the US-Israeli war of aggression, insisting on full compensation for war damages and the lifting of all sanctions, according to an IRIB report.
The report said that the plan also demands the release of frozen Iranian assets and the recognition of Iran’s sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran's state media said Tehran's proposal included an immediate end to the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, the safety of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz and a halt to the US naval blockade.
The Wall Street Journal quoted unnamed sources saying that Iran had proposed diluting some of its enriched uranium and transferring the remainder to a third country. Tehran has previously denied such reports. - (ANA) -
