 Death toll from Israeli attacks across Lebanon rises as strikes on south continue
BEIRUT, 12 May. - (ANA) - The death toll from Israel's attacks across Lebanon has risen to 2,869 since March 2, the latest figures from Lebanon's Ministry of Health show.
A US-brokered ceasefire in Lebanon has done little to bring residents respite as deadly Israeli strikes across towns and villages in southern Lebanon continue.
At least three people were killed and another was injured in Israeli strikes on Nabatieh, according to Lebanon's National News Agency.
A 78-year-old woman and her 11-year-old grandchild were killed in another attack on the town of Abba this morning, NNA reported.
It added that two siblings were killed overnight in an Israeli strike on the southern town of Jarjouaa.
Israeli troops have issued forced displacement orders for at least 80 towns in southern Lebanon since the ceasefire came into effect last month, and continue to attack and demolish homes and civilian infrastructure. - (ANA) -
